Wednesday Morning Lenten Service at the Chapel at Bigfork Valley.
 That evening we meet for Soup at Presbyterian Church at 6 p.m. and Worship at 7 p.m. Pastor Ryan will be preaching Wednesday.

A special word to our basketball teams play your best and leave the rest, and as Carol would say, "Play a tough DEFENSE!"  A special prayer for all our fans and the team, God be with you as you travel!

Choir Members please note the new day that we are practicing! We will practice on Thursday evenings during Lent, at 7:00 p.m. We will be singing at church on Sunday, March 21st and again on Easter Sunday, April 4th. The anthems that are being sung are so appropriate for the season; please invite your neighbors and friends to hear this message.

Bigfork WELCA News
The "In-Kind Kits" this year are the AIDS/HOSPICE KITS for Global Health Ministries. We are asking each one in the congregation to help by donating a certain item each month. The March item is a wrapped bath-size bar of soap.

For all the churches:  please give generously to those who are hurting in Haiti and Chile. You may give to these causes through your church. Please write a check to Effie Lutheran, Bigfork Lutheran or First Presbyterian and put a note in the memo: for earthquake help!
                        
Daylight Savings time starts March 14th (Next Sunday)!

There will be an Online Town Hall Forum hosted by ELCA Presiding Bishop Mark S. Hanson today from 4-5 p.m. for everyone who wants to hear more about what's happening in the ELCA and give feedback to Bishop Hanson. A note of apology from Pastor Ryan: Please disregard the incorrect times on the first page of "The Voice."  The correct time for all Bigfork Church services on Sunday should read 10:15!  Sorry about that.

The Wednesday evening offerings are being given to "The Food Shelf."

And speaking of our Food Shelf:  March is Food Share Month!
Thanks to the support of the local Churches and communities, our local Food Shelf, the "Northern Itasca Food Shelf," is doing well. There are items we like to stock, but we are unable to purchase them from the Food Bank, so we buy them locally. The Food Shelf is open every Thursday, 12:30-3:00 p.m. Food is available if you know people who are in need. There is very little paper work?visitors are also welcome.
